Founded over 40 years ago as the Joseph A. Benyon Company, we became The Lyman Group in 1989 when Michael Lyman, our current owner and president purchased the company.

The Lyman Group has maintained a strong focus and has developed a high level of expertise in serving our core market and providing strategies and service that is unsurpassed.

In 2006, The Lyman Group became a member firm of M Financial Group. M Financial Group is a nationwide organization of independent insurance, investment, and executive benefit firms serving the financial needs of ultra-affluent individuals and Fortune 1000 companies.

Today, over 110 independent Member Firms like The Lyman Group share ideas and expertise to help each other grow their businesses, expand their capabilities, and most of all, better serve their clients.
